Stijn De Baets graduated as an occupational therapist in 2007. He has an extensive expertise in approaching and advising young people and adults with various physical problems within the field of participation in society. Stijn also studied a Master in Healthcare Management and Policy and as a result has an interest and expertise in quality assurance and equity in healthcare. In addition to his employment at Ghent University, Stijn is also postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, active in various international projects, and chair of the Knowledge Center Occupational Therapy, as a department of the Flanders OT federation.
